In 1986, David Payne, partner in charge of design for PH&J Architects, created the Master Plan for Briarwood Church, which included over 400,000 SF of space, 240,000 SF of which was built initially and for which he served as design partner in charge of the project.

at two entrances on the existing campus

- 50,000 SF Church and School Classrooms, Kitchen & Cafeteria Addition
- Completed in 1998 for $4,750,000.
- Currently designing a new two-story adult education and conference center, children's auditorium, three-story youth building, enclosed bridge, and 400 car 2-1/2 level parking deck which were developed by the firm in the 2007 Master Plan Update. Project cost is projected between $18 million to $20 million.
